Democratic Future for the Arab Spring: Authoritarian Past and the Challenges to Democratization Tuesday, September 10 at Latour Conference Room at Nazareth Hall (Student Activity Center) from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Associate Professor of Political Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will discuss the Arab Spring and the path of democracy in the Middle East. It is presented by the Social Sciences Department in collaboration with Marywood’s International Club and the Turkish Student Association, in collaboration with the Golden Generation Retreat Center, the Lehigh Dialogue Center, Zümrüt Marbel and Granite and EBR-TV.
The lecture will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a reception from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
